On any regularly scheduled examination date there will be a four (4) hour Code class given in the morning from 8:00 a.m. until noon.
The examination will be given that same afternoon from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
The Code class is only designed to be a brush-up session on the use of the National Electrical Code book along with applicable sections of State Law, electrical theory, and fire alarm installations.
It is not designed or intended to help anyone pass the examination. Excellent knowledge of the NEC, State statutes and electrical theory along with the required hands-on work experience are essential to pass any examination. A certificate for four hours of continuing education toward license renewal will be awarded to those who attend.
The registration fee for each course is $40.00
(To attend the class, pre-registration and $40 fee are required)
Download the Code Class Registration Form
and complete the form. Send the form along with your $40 registration fee to the State Electrical Division. This registration allows you to attend only the pre-exam Code course.
